William Shakespeare is a good example of what a bard is. Shakespeare used the technology of his day to tell stories that moved and motivated people. He actually doesn’t work at The Bard Company, but we like to pretend he does.

We Live Local, But Serve Global

What’s Our Story?

We’ve always loved stories. We created The Bard Company as a way to share that love and expertise with others. We exist to help people tell stories that move audiences to measurable and meaningful action. At the core of our business culture are three characteristics.

We Are God-Honoring

We exist to glorify God and enjoy him forever. This is our primary calling, regardless where we work. The Bard Company is just another opportunity to do just that.

Matthew 22:37-38

37 And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment.

We Are Neighbor-Loving

One of the chief ways we get to honor and enjoy God is by loving and caring for his creation. We do this by loving our neighbor in service, and Christ’s footwashing is our model.

Matthew 22:39-40

39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 40 On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”

We Are Very Curious

God is the biggest storyteller there is, and has stocked creation and life with untold discoveries. We are dedicatedly curious creatures, and we intentionally let it drive us.

Ephesians 2:10

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
